Just now regrouping after a snow event that covered everything in 2 feet of heavy wet snow. So many broken trees that there will be fire wood for the s’more pit for a long time. Lost power for 48 hours. Generator kept important things going. The repair crews did a great job getting things back on, working in extremely difficult conditions. Day and night they were out until all was back to normal. I was able to clear access to my place using my tractor and the county cleared the roads promptly. I am very impressed with the community here and how we all weathered and enjoyed the event. All my animals did well during the snow covered week.
The new season is wide open for booking prime weeks.
Winter is off season and bargain rates apply now until June 15th. Life is good here in the mountains.
